Walking Holidays in West Norfolk

With the stunning scenic views and a mix of countryside and beaches, Norfolk is the perfect location for people looking for a walking holiday, Peddars Way which runs from Holme Next Sea on the North Norfolk Coast to Knettishall Heath in Suffolk, passes through several of the Norfolk countryside towns and villages, although there are miles of the paths to be explored, it also offers shorter walks too, perfect for family day trips.

Brancaster, a beautiful coastal village has a variety of restaurants, country pubs and of course fish and chip shops, there is also a popular golf club. The CoastHopper is a bus service which runs along the North Norfolk coast, it's a great way to get around the county, so if you don't want to walk back from your day out you can always get the bus back to where you started from.

If you are looking for a walking holiday closer to the Norfolk seaside there are also plenty of routes along the coastline, situated on the coast our self-catering cottage at Heacham is only three miles from Hunstanton where there is a collection of beach walks. Heacham is also only eight miles from Sandringham Estate, which has a collection of routes mostly through woodland or on grass. Most of the beaches and footpaths in West Norfolk are dog friendly, although the beaches may have restrictions during summer periods.
